I am sitting here in Orlando, Fl waiting for Hurricane Floyd with 155 mile per hour sustained winds to strike the Central Coast of Florida on Tuesday afternoon September 14th, 1999. I thought I'd scan some pictures I took after Hurricane Erin struck Panama City Florida on August 3rd 1995.  We survived the night at a coworkers  house because our hotel near the Gulf of Mexico was evacuated.

Hurricane Erin struck the Florida Panhandle with sustained winds of 94 mph and gusts up to 103 mph. The storm blasted across Florida's Panhandle and southern Alabama before losing strength as it moved inland and dissipated into rain. Four deaths were blamed on Erin, and another seven people were reported missing at sea.

We used to eat lunch at this restaurant.
